Warranty Coverage for Office Equipment
The following warranty terms apply to selected categories of Formax office equipment, including:
- Document Folders
- Pressure Sealers
- Inserters
- Color Printing Systems
- Paper Cutters
- Joggers
- Signers
- Bursters
Standard Warranty Includes:
- 90-Day Warranty on Parts and Labor
- 90-Day Parts Warranty for drop-shipped equipment only
Shredder Warranty Coverage
Our paper shredders and data destruction equipment are supported with extended warranty protection depending on the product category.
Warranty Terms Include:
- Lifetime Limited Warranty on deskside and office shredder cutting heads
- Lifetime Limited Warranty on industrial shredder cutting heads (parts only)
- 1-Year Warranty on specialty shredder cutting heads (parts only)
- 90-Day Labor Warranty and 1-Year Parts Warranty on high-security shredders
- 1-Year Warranty on all other shredder parts across all models
Warranty Conditions
Formax Equipment reserves the right to repair or replace any defective component covered under the applicable warranty period. Warranty service applies only under normal operating conditions and does not cover misuse, abuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
To qualify for warranty service:
- Written notification of the defect must be provided within the applicable warranty period
- Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser
- Wearable and consumable parts are excluded from warranty coverage
- Labor charges, shipping costs, and incidental or consequential damages are not included unless otherwise specified
Warranty Claims
All warranty claims must be submitted together with a replacement parts request. Replacement parts are shipped according to standard fulfillment procedures.
